EXHIBITION STANDS

Location: Ex Athens Airport, Greece
Surface: 550m2
Status: Completed
Year: 2008
Team: Louis Barault, Katerina Koulouri

It is an exhibition stand for a well-known and established car manufacturer covering a total area of 550m2.The construction was completed in 5 days for the 2008 Athens Car Show. The sole exhibit is a car model in several versions. The target's group age range between 20 to 35 years old. By using the two dominant colors of the promotion campaign, black and magenta, a web of lines is created in order to intensify the effect of perspective and dynamic motion. The colored web contrasts to the white flooring and deconstructs the total surface. Furthermore, as the web folds on the back surface, the two spatial dimensions intertwine creating an interesting and complex visual effect. The use of semitransparent printings on the glass wall offers the visitor the chance to have a holistic perception of the space without distracting his focus from the cars. Finally at the rear, the Bar area as well as the auxiliary spaces are covered and defined by a 16 meter long structure with a curved ending.
